Our current year came to a close with a fun and successful Games Day! Thank you to Judy Gross for a great year of locations and interesting programs. We have been informed about Alzheimer’s Research, seen quilts used along the Underground Railroad, learned some new recipes with a cooking demonstration, among many other fun and informative programs.
Today we had fun playing games and visiting together. We made a $4000 donation to Katye Fuglar, a representative from UAB, to be used for Alzheimer’s Research. These were the proceeds from our Mah Jongg Tournament. (Click on title to see picture)
A New Neighbors year of activities has come to a close, but a new Board has been installed and exciting plans are being made for our next season. Be watching for information on our activities for the summer.
